London based author Eva Holland's debut novel The Daughter's Secret is released in paperback April 7 with Orion, seeing her propelled into the ranks of Liane Moriarty and Louise Doughty as a writer of quality suspense fiction.

The book tells the story of a family in turmoil, following central character Rosalind six years after her daughter ran away with her teacher, with the novel opening eleven days before he's released early from prison.
